Alzheimer’s disease takes center stage at Nazareth College as Keith A. Harrington of the Rochester Alzheimer’s Association speaks on Wednesday, February 13, in the Nazareth Shults Center Forum at 7:00 pm.

This event is free and open to the public, sponsored by the Sigma Phi Omega Honor Society and the Gerontology Club. Harrington will speak about Alzheimer’s disease, present an overview on dementia, and will also provide different approaches to improve communication with those who have Alzheimer’s disease.

For more information, contact David Steitz, director of gerontology at Donations will be collected prior to the lecture for Alzheimer’s care, support, research, awareness, and advocacy. Donations will be presented to the Alzheimer’s Association on the evening of the event. Those who donate will be entered to win a raffle basket.
