Careers

Nazareth's Communication and Media major opens up employment opportunities in many areas. Our graduates are employed by many renowned organizations, including SNY-TV Home of the Mets, Butler Till Media, Paychex, Smart Pop Books, Gatehouse Media, and Yellow Page City. Here are some of the most common career pathways our students take, along with suggestions for making the most of a Nazareth education in pursuit of those careers.

According to the U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, job growth will be strong for all of these fields (with the exception of journalism). Advertising, Graphic Design, Law, and Technical Writing jobs are expected to grow between 10-17% by 2020, keeping pace with national job growth trends. Event Planning and Public Relations are expected to grow 44% and 21%, respectively, exceeding national job growth trends.
