Music Education Club

The National Association for Music Education (MENC) is a club with a mission to advance music education by encouraging the study and making of music by all. It is the mindset of MENC that each individual should be guaranteed the opportunity to learn music.

As a collegiate chapter at Nazareth, MENC participates in community service associated with the field, advocacy of the profession and fun activities that bring both music educators and those who have a special relationship with music together. Nazareth's chapter offers the opportunity for national membership, attendance at conferences that enhance a prospective educator's career, and publications that target music education. Nation-wide, there are 120,000 members at the professional, collegiate, and high school level.
