Creative Minds Club
The purpose of the Creative Minds Club is to discuss, encourage, and reflect on the differences that exist within its diverse group of members. The goal of the meetings is to create an open atmosphere where members can have productive discussion with their peers. The diverse group which includes students and professors from various racial, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds gives members the opportunity to ask questions about stereotypes and common misconceptions and receive answers. Some examples of discussions are creativity, the importance of education in society, the importance of race in society, and differences in communication between men and women. Each meeting members are encouraged to share their creative reflection pieces including poetry, prose, essays, art work, etc. For more information or to get involved in the Creative Minds Club, contact club president Te’vonn McField at tmcfiel5@naz.edu.
