Business Administration

The business administration major provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to gain access to a variety of entry level positions in business, government and not-for-profit organizations. Students also develop an understanding of the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship.

Students pursuing the business administration major will:

  • Learn with faculty devoted to teaching excellence and student development.

  • Immerse themselves in a core curriculum that provides thorough knowledge of accounting, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics, finance, global issues, management, marketing and technology.

  • Develop their communication, critical thinking, analytical and teamwork skills.

  • Specialize in an area of business that meets their personal and professional interests.

  • Comprehend the role of general and business education in the development and pursuit of personal and professional interests.

Students on CampusBusiness administration students have the option to pursue a specialization in any of the following areas:

  • Accounting
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Human Resource Management
  • Information Technology
  • International Business
  • Marketing
  • Sports Management
