
Business Administration
The business administration major provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to gain access to a variety of entry level positions in business, government and not-for-profit organizations. Students also develop an understanding of the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship.
Students pursuing the business administration major will:
- Learn with faculty devoted to teaching excellence and student development.
- Immerse themselves in a core curriculum that provides thorough knowledge of accounting, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics, finance, global issues, management, marketing and technology.
- Develop their communication, critical thinking, analytical and teamwork skills.
- Specialize in an area of business that meets their personal and professional interests.
- Comprehend the role of general and business education in the development and pursuit of personal and professional interests.
Business administration students have the option to pursue a specialization in any of the following areas:
- Accounting
- Economics
- Finance
- Human Resource Management
- Information Technology
- International Business
- Marketing
- Sports Management
