From the Director
Nazareth College of Rochester is a community of more than 4,000 people learning, living, and working on a beautiful, picturesque campus. Oftentimes, existing in such a tranquil environment can cause us to forget that crime and o
ther issues do exist on campus and in the surrounding area. The safety and security of the Nazareth community is of paramount importance to the Campus Safety Department.
The department is committed to delivering quality security and prevention programs. The Campus Safety Department’s primary mission at Nazareth College is to create a safe and secure environment. This mission, cannot be accomplished without help from the entire community of students, faculty, staff and visitors. Preventing crime, identifying risks and problem solving are shared responsibilities. You can begin to help by reading the student Right-To-Know Report. Distribution of this report includes all students and employees and, upon request, is also provided to prospective students and employees.
Efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment rely on our ability to collaborate on all issues relating to the collective safety and security of the Nazareth community. This collaboration starts with each individual understanding their responsibility to learn and practice sound safety and security measures. This report is intended to give you a general description of campus safety and security at Nazareth College.
Enjoy a safe and pleasant Nazareth College experience.
