Returning resident students participate
in the Spring Housing Lottery. Housing Selection material is mailed
to all current resident Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen as well
as resident Seniors who will be returning. Only full-time students
are eligible for Housing Selection.
Incoming students are sent materials from the
Admissions Office once an applicant is admitted. The deadline for
return of the Residential Life Application-Contract is May 1. Applications
from incoming students received by that date are guaranteed
standard housing. We will attempt to honor all applications after
that date based on the date we receive your application. Spaces
are generally available, but you may have to live in "crowded housing"
temporarily. Please read the terms and conditions as the housing
agreement is a legally binding contract for both you and the College.
Take care to provide all the information requested accurately and
completely to avoid delay or loss of your assignment. Return your
completed form in the self-addressed envelope provided.
You will receive notification of your room
assignment by mid-August. We will also include the name, address
and telephone number of your roommate(s) in case you want to make
arrangements on what to bring to make your room more of a "home
away from home".
