Congratulations to members in our department! Dr. John Edelman has been appointed to the Caroline and Killian Schmitt Endowed Chair from January 2007 to June 2009. He will be devoting his time to problems of philosophical method, the nature of logic, and the role of the Muses in philosophy. And Dr. Scott Campbell received a Fulbright grant to teach courses in American Philosophy at the University of Pannonia in Veszprem, Hungary for the spring semester of 2008.

Philosophy Conference Room gets a face-lift. GAC 463, the home of the Logic Lab and Philosophy Club events, is now more comfortable for reading and discussing philosophy. Check out the new couches!
