- The length of time required for degree completion is variable and depends on number of transfer credit hours.
- Associate Degree Graduate - The sample program assumes 63 transfer credit hours, including the following: lower division nursing courses (21 credits), Anatomy and Physiology (8 credits), Microbiology (4 credits), Introductory and Developmental Psychology (6 credits), Sociology (3 credits), Statistics (3 credits), English Composition and Literature (9 credits).
- Diploma Graduate - The sample program assumes 60 credit hours have been earned either by transfer credit or by study at Nazareth College in the following areas: Anatomy and Physiology (8 credits), Microbiology (4 credits), Introductory and Developmental Psychology (6 credits), Sociology (3 credits), English Composition (6 credits), Ethics (3 credits), Statistics (3 credits), Humanities (9 credits).
- In lieu of a validation exam, nurses who have earned a diploma will receive 21 transfer credits in lower division nursing upon successful completion of NSG 323, NSG 327, and NSG 329, i.e., transfer credit will be held in "escrow" at the time of admission.
- One humanities or liberal arts elective must be designated as Global Studies (G).
