Financial Aid
Whether studying full- or part-time, you are encouraged to contact the Financial Aid Office to learn about scholarships, grants, and loans for which you might be eligible. Financial Aid awards based on merit are generally made at the time of acceptance to the college; in most cases, a separate letter awarding a scholarship accompanies the acceptance letter.
In general, full-time students are given more opportunities to obtain scholarships and loans. Depending on your or your family's income, you may be eligible for TAP and PELL. You need to fill out a FAFSA form from the Financial Aid Office. Perhaps you would be interested in being a work-study student and receiving some income in this manner. There are also special scholarships for minority students. New York State also has an income-based scholarship program for part-time students. Graduate students are eligible to apply for Nurse Traineeship funds, which comes to us from the federal government.
Tuition & Fees
Please visit the Bursar's website to locate information on Graduate and Undergraduate tuition rates and fees, in addition to selected course fees for students in nursing programs.
Graduate Assistantships
Numerous Graduate Assistantships are available to students in the graduate component of the Physical Therapy program. Maximum remuneration for an assistantship is a three-credit waiver to be applied to a graduate course during the term in which the work of the assistantship is being done. Only one assistantship (three-credit) per graduate student is allowed each semester.
