Summer Piano Camp

Nazareth College will be instituting a new piano camp for pre-college age students this school year. The camp will be open to students from the Rochester area and beyond, and will include overnight dormitory accommodations for registrants. It will begin on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 and continue through Saturday, June 27. Daily events will include ensemble activities involving both piano and other instruments, master class participation, theory and musicianship instruction, and various performance opportunities. Fortissimo! Summer Camp for Chamber Music

Session I: August 4-8 (focus on preparing the professional gig)

Session II: August 11-15 (focus on integrating rock music into traditional classical training)

This is an intensive chamber music experience within a relaxed environment. Students will perform a paying job at the end of the first week. Final concert will take place on Thursday, August 14 and Friday, August 15 at 1:00 PM in Wilmot Recital Hall.
