Biography:
Mark C. Zeigler
is currently a member of the faculty at Nazareth College of Rochester,
where he conducts the Nazareth College Chamber Singers, Men's Chorus and Women's Chorus. His other responsibilities include teaching
graduate and undergraduate conducting courses, Orientation to Music
Education, and supervising student teachers. Previously, Dr. Zeigler
taught secondary choral music in Chula Vista, California, and elementary
general music and secondary choral music in Raton, New Mexico. Dr.
Zeigler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and a Master of Arts
degree in Choral Conducting from San Diego State University where
he studied conducting with Frank Almond. He earned his Ph.D. in Choral
Music Education at Florida State University where he studied conducting
with Rodney Eichenberger.
