He has performed in masterclasses conducted by Dawn Upshaw, Leonid Smetannikov, Menahem Pressler, Béla Siki, Howard Karp, Earle Patriarco, and Douglas Yates.

He has sung several operatic roles with the Eastman Opera Theater including Count Belfiore in Mozart’s La finta Giardiniera,  Prunier in Puccini’s La Rondine, and Tapioca in L’étoile by Chabrier.  Other roles performed are Brother Paul in Trinkley’s York, Samuel in Rorem’s Three Sisters Who Are Not Sisters, Aeneas in Purcell’s Dido & Aeneas, Nerone in Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea, Joseph Treat in Bond’s Mrs. Satan, Léon in Pasatieri’s Signor Deluso,  Ferrando in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, and The Counsel in Gilbert & Sullivan’s Trial by Jury.

Having a keen interest in the oratorio and symphonic repertoires, Lilite has performed with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and has recently returned to Kleinhans Hall in Januray 2007 for a Mozart Celebration Concert.  Other solo appearances have been with the Eastman-Rochester Chorus and Orchestra, in Handel’s Messiah with the Pennsylvania Consort, Orff’s Carmina Burana with the Biola Conservatory Chorale and Orchestra, Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio with conductor Anthony Leach, and Schubert’s Mass in G with the Penn State University Chorus and Orchestra.

Mr. Lilite has served on the voice faculty at Houghton College since August 2005 and was newly appointed adjunct instructor of voice at Nazareth College.  He has taught, lectured, and coached in the United States and overseas for twelve years in private lessons, masterclasses, seminars, and summer programs.  He has served as an adjudicator for the Phyllis Triolo Competition and for NATS student auditions.  His students have won various awards and have been accepted at Michigan State in Ann Arbor, Penn State University, the University of Illinois, and at summer programs at Aspen and Oberlin.  His private studio holds yearly winter and spring recitals for the general public.

Mr. Lilite is currently in residence at the Eastman School of Music pursuing a degree of Doctor of Musical Arts in voice performance under the tutelage of Ms. Carol Webber.  Having previously studied with Jennie Wong (piano), William Lock, Jeanne Robison, Richard Kennedy, Susan Boardman, and Marylène Dosse (piano), he earned his MM in voice performance & pedagogy at Penn State University in 2002, and a BM degree in 1999 at Biola University in La Mirada, CA with a double emphasis in voice and piano performance.
