The Music Department offers Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Arts degrees, and Congaa Master of Science in Education with a program in Music Education. Undergraduate programs are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. The Music Therapy program is approved by the American Music Therapy Association.

Scholarships

At Nazareth College, students have unlimited opportunities to perform and develop through the college's personalized approach to teaching. As part of the audition for admission to the Music Student Playing MusicDepartment, prospective students compete for music scholarships valued at $1,000-$5,000 per year. The scholarships, awarded on the basis of performance ability and musical promise, are independent of financial need; each student auditioning is considered for scholarship.
