Configuring Your Laptop to Connect to Our Wireless Network

In order to connect to our wireless network, your laptop (PC or Mac) must have a wireless networking card that is 802.11b and/or 802.11g compliant. Newer laptops are often equipped with integrated wireless. Otherwise, the purchase of a wireless PC card may be required.

Mac users should be able to connect to our wireless network as long as their laptops are equipped with either AirPort cards (802.11b) or AirPort Extreme cards (802.11g).

PC users (Windows XP):

First, verify that your wireless network connection is enabled. (Control Panel -> Network Connections)

A message should appear stating that a wireless network has been detected.

Otherwise, right-click on the wireless icon (with the red X), and select “View Available Wireless Networks”

Select nazwlan and click Connect.

Note: It may take a short while for the wireless connection to be established.

Congratulations: You may now browse the Internet!
