Interdisciplinary Clinic
Through interdisciplinary coursework and clinical conferences, students are exposed to theory and gain knowledge about health-related disciplines other than their own. Students serve individuals with multiple disabilities who are underserved or who have exhausted their funding through the health care system.
Students from art therapy, speech-language pathology, physical therapy and music therapy collaborate in a rehabilitation program for individuals with acquired aphasia and traumatic brain injury. Joining them are students from nursing and social work, who offer services within the on-campus clinics to promote wellness and provide support.
