Veterans Scholarship

On June 30, 2008, President Bush signed a major expansion of the G.I. Bill that gives historic increases in college tuition benefits to returning troops, and Nazareth College is showing its support to veterans by announcing a new scholarship program to enhance their private educational experience.

  • Daan Braveman welcoming honored guestsThe Nazareth Veterans Scholarship awards $7,500 per year for up to a total of four years (for a possible $30,000 total).
  • Eligible: Any post 9/11 honorably discharged veteran who has served at least six months of active duty and who is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student.
  • With the Nazareth Veterans Scholarship, that takes effect in fall 2008, most veterans who qualify for increased benefits from the G.I. Bill would be able to cover the cost of Nazareth's tuition in grant assistance.
