• New Faces of the Nazareth Faculty

 

The Center for Teaching Excellence offers a variety of experiences to support our new faculty as they join the Nazareth community, including a semester long orientation. 

On the Tuesday before the fall semester begins, new faculty meet with members of the administration to better understand Nazareth College and its goals. This meeting is followed by a presentation/discussion with faculty about teaching (and learning) at Nazareth. After lunch with department chairs, guest presenters, and guest faculty, new faculty have a chance to tour the campus and then end the day with a discussion about College policies and course syllabi.

This one day meeting is then followed by weekly noontime discussions.
