NBC Support Program
Do you have an interest in earning your National Board Certification?
Join your colleagues from around the greater Rochester and upstate regions for a chance to explore and discuss the National Board Certification process.
Where: Nazareth College's Golisano Academic Center
When: Fall 2009 (4:30pm to 7:30 pm)

Nazareth College and the GRTCN (the Greater Rochester Teacher Center Network) have entered into a collaboration in support of teachers who are current National Board candidates who want to give time to beginning their portfolio entries.
Through the National Board Certification Support Program, you will:
- be introduced to the entire scope of the process ahead
- exchange ideas on the different types of writing required for each entry
- work independently on your portfolio entries
- engage with partners and in writing groups to receive feedback on your entries
- resolve issues particular to your specialty area
You will enjoy a collegiate environment for learning led by facilitators who have achieved NBCTeacher status and/or are Nazareth faculty and who are trained NBC support providers
Bring with you a laptop, your calendar and a copy of NYS standards and local curriculum standards
