Part-time Faculty/Staff Sharing an Extension
Please click on Setting up Voicemail Boxes and follow the directions for part-time faculty/staff sharing an extension.
Telephone Voice Mail
Many faculty and staff members are connected to the VoiceMail system. VoiceMail allows users to send and receive voice messages. All users should have a handbook and instructions explaining the VoiceMail system. Questions should be directed to Information Technology Services at ext. 2100.
Phone Feature Instructions
Your phone is already equipped with VoiceMail, 3 Way Calling, Speed Dialing and Call Forwarding. Accessing VoiceMail from off campus requires a touchtone telephone. The first things you should do are to change your password, record your name, and record your greetings - see intructions for all three below.
Message Notification
On any of the standard office digital phones your VoiceMail (or Mailbox) light will appear and you will hear a stutter (broken) dial tone, indicating that there are unplayed messages in your mailbox. You are limited to 10 new or saved (total) messages unless otherwise set up by the system administrator. [If you are a parttime faculty or staff sharing a phone, you will not have any indicator light or broken dial tone - you must dial in to the system to see if you have messages.]

have two regular greetings which you should record:
