You will need your long distance authorization code to initiate long distance calls (same as from your office phone).

Option 1: Permanently stationed phones

Instructions:

  • move phone to convenient position as wires allow
  • hit the SPEAKER button to dial and talk
  • hit REAR MIC button if people sitting behind phone
  • use up/down arrow keys for volume
  • SPEAKER again to hang up

Option 2: Live jacks to plug in Media Center Unit

Polycom SoundStation - ask to borrow the unit from Library Media Center

Instructions:

  • plug in power and phone line (plug in to jack on wall labeled "CONF PHONE")
  • hit ON/OFF to dial and talk
  • use up/down arrows for volume
  • ON/OFF again to hang up

Locations (jacks):

  • Porthole Lounge (low on wall to left as entering door nearest the Forum)
  • 1924 Room (low near corner to left when entering)
  • Board Room (low just to left of entryway from Bishop's Parlor)
  • Forum (by piano in front and under clock in back
