What is Blackboard?

Blackboard is an e-learning and course management system that provides instructors with a centralized online repository for course materials and a collection of web-based tools to complement instruction.

From any location with Internet access, instructors and their students have access to course materials, discussion boards, online assessments and more - all via a resource center that can be tailored specifically for each course. Nazareth is currently using Blackboard release 8.0 for its instructional needs.
