A Note About the Book Reviews:

The CISD quarterly book reviews have been resumed. The next book discussion will take place on Thrusday October 30th. Please see the details below for more information.

The Center for Interfaith Studies and Dialogue sponsors a quarterly gathering to discuss a significant book or article dealing with world religions. An initial review of the reading material and a set of tentative questions for the discussion will always be found at this site. Readers are asked to critique and suggest other questions. The list will be finalized a few days before the gathering. Those who participate in a common list serve will continue the discussion after the gathering.

We get together to discuss a book every three months on the second Tuesday of that month. It lasts ninety minutes. If you wish to attend the gathering please RSVP CISD with your name and email address: cisd@naz.edu

The next book discussion will be held on Thrusday October 30th at 7pm at Nazareth College, Golisano Building Room 325.

Dr. Shafiq will be leading the book discussion on the book "A HISTORY OF GOD: THE 4,000-YEAR QUEST OF JUDAISM, CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM" by Karen Armstrong.
