Welcome to Nazareth College's Summer 2009 Study of the U.S. Institute for Student Leaders! On behalf of the faculty and staff at Nazareth College, congratulations on being selected for the Institute.

Nazareth College is home to one of seven summer institutes offering U.S. culture and leadership as part of a program developed by the Academy for Educational Development (AED) in Washington D.C., which is funded by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. Staff at the AED will arrange your travel to and from the United States.

We are excited about providing opportunities to interact with a wide variety of institutions, to gain hands-on experience with American democracy, and to engage in leadership and academic growth. It is our hope that you will have a life-changing experience, one that will assist you in your personal and professional development.
