The American Language Institute offers a caring, supportive, and friendly environment. Many support services are available at Nazareth to assist in your academic and personal pursuits.
- Nazareth's Lorette Wilmot Library has more than 200,000 books, journals, and other items, and interlibrary loan expands choices to the entire country's library holdings.
- The on-campus health services office is available in the event of minor illness or injury. In the case of an emergency, the campus safety department is staffed 24 hours a day.
- Computer labs housed in the library and two academic buildings contain Internet-ready PC and Macintosh computers.
- The Center for International Education, which hosts ALI, provides cross-cultural counseling and support for immigration matters such as extension of stay and work permission.
- The Nazareth College Arts Center hosts regular shows by internationally-known performing artists. Note: the Arts Center is closed for renovation during summer 2009.
- Athletic facilities including a new track and field complex, fitness center, and Olympic-size swimming pool are available for all members of the Nazareth community.
- The Emerson Language Lab provides students with access to learning tools for language and culture. Through the use of support systems and an evolving variety of cutting-edge equipment and resources (including 21 Dell computers, headsets with microphones, and an assortment of interaction multimedia programs such as voice recognition and recording software), the Lab facilitates a new level of communication between professors and students in the study and instruction of foreign languages and culture.
