What We Offer
The American Language Institute (ALI) at Nazareth College offers programs to international students and faculty, foreign professionals, and members of the greater Rochester community in areas such as English language and American culture, business English, and English for health care. Whether your goal is acceptance into an undergraduate or graduate program, improved business, professional or personal communication, or a higher level of achievement in your studies, ALI programs can help.
Our program
You will receive excellent instruction in the four components of language: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Classes are offered in three and five week sessions, during which students are in classes for 20 hours/week. Students may be placed in beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels based on their abilities. If necessary, Nazareth College is able to issue an I-20 form to obtain a student visa.

Nazareth College is conveniently located in Pittsford, a safe suburb east of Rochester, New York. It is a 20-minute drive from the Greater Rochester International Airport.
