Nazareth College
Nazareth College is a private, co-educational, comprehensive college with a liberal arts and sciences core. Founded in 1924 by the Sisters of St. Joseph, it has been independent for more than 30 years. Situated on 94 wooded acres near the village of Pittsford, just east of Rochester, the current campus is compromised of 19 buildings, most connected by underground tunnels. Nazareth is currently undergoing an expansion campaign that will result in new buildings, updated academic programs, and state of the art athletic facilities. Yet the hallmarks of a Nazareth education -- a solid foundation in the liberal arts and sciences, strong student-faculty connections, small class size, and a reputation for academic quality and value -- will remain.
