Ireland Short-Term Study Program

Dates: Saturday, March 8, - Sunday, March 16, 2003.The Program takes place during each Spring Break week at Nazareth College.

  • Kilkenney Castleand Cathedral (Kilkenney County)
  • Rock of Cashel (County Tipperary)
  • Bunratty Castle - River Shannon - Cliffs of Moher (County Clare and River Shannon)
  • Blarney Castle and the Blarney Stone (County Cork)
  • Dingle Peninsula (County Kerry)
  • Trinity College in Dublin and the Library (Celtic Book of Kells)
  • Monastery at Glendalough and 1000 years of Irish monasticism (County Wicklow)

Participants: The Program takes students annually to see some of southern Ireland's major towns and cultural centers. Members of the College and wider community regularly participate.

Academic Credit: None.

Airfare, hotels, breakfasts, most dinners, bus travel, Dublin city tour, admission to sites
