"It was also comforting to know that the Program was there to help me if things ever went wrong."

My time spent in Berlin would be impossible to describe in a few brief paragraphs. The people at Nazareth's Program with Studienforum Berlin not only cared for all of my needs; they also exposed me to experiences beyond belief. Beyond coordinating and financing trips to Poland and the Czech Republic, the Director and the professors also brought us to the Berlin Philharmonic, cabarets, ballets and more. Our host families were really part of the educational program. I visited famous cities throughout Germany with them!

These excursions were great, but what really made my time in Germany memorable was the day-to-day life. I can't believe how many stereotypes I had believed about the German culture. The truth is that the people I met are warm, kind, loving, and much much more. I had a wonderful time with my host family and we still keep in touch. It was also comforting to know that the Program was there to help me if things ever went wrong.

Last, but not least, the classes I took in Berlin were wonderful. We were asked to learn a lot, and it taught me so much more than I ever knew about Germany, Germans and Europe.
