Phi Lambda Upsilon
Phi Lambda Upsilon is a National Honor Society that recognizes those who achieve excellence in Chemistry. The Society has an At-large Membership program that extends recogntion to undergraduate students at insitutions, such as Nazareth College, where no active local chapter exists.

American Chemical Society Outstanding Senior Award
This award is presented by the Rochester Section of the American Chemical Society to honor a graduating senior Chemistry major.

Recipient: Mary O'Donnell
Sr. Therese M. Lang Excellence in Biochemistry Award
Sr. Therese M. Lang was a member of the Nazareth College faculty for 25 years and was the chair of the Department of Chemistry for ten years. During her tenure the biochemistry major was established as a result of her vision and diligence.

Chemistry Department Service Award
The Department of Chemistry relies on upperclass majors to set up underclass laboratories, facilitate class workshops and serve as peer tutors in the Science Center. This award is given to a student with exemplary performance in service to the department.

American Institute of Chemists Award
This award recognizes graduates in the disciplines for which chemistry is the central component, such as chemistry biochemistry, and chemical engineering.

This award recognizes a junior who has demonstrated excellence in analytical chemistry.

This award is presented to an outstanding student enrolled in freshman chemistry.
