MSTL at Nazareth

Inquiry-based, Interdisciplinary Mathematics, Science, Technology, and Literacy (MSTL) for Grades K-6

On August 11-14, 2008 K-6 teachers attended a four-day workshop staffed by Nazareth College faculty and graduate assistants. Teachers learned about the mathematics of kite flying, using digital cameras, including how to make time-lapse movies, and invtestigated ecology in our own Nazareth backyard. This fall, they will be taking their new expeiences into their classrooms in the Greater Rochester area.
