ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 26, 2007) -- Host Nazareth gained the No. 2 seed for this weekend's North East Collegiate Volleyball Association Championship Tournament.

The Golden Flyers finished 21-6 overall and won the championship of the NECVA Western Division with a conference record of 9-1. Nazareth will play 15th-seeded New Jersey City University in Friday's first round at 6 p.m.

Quarterfinal and semifinal matches will be played Saturday with the championship match slated for Sunday at 1 p.m. The tournament winner will advance to the Moulten Division III Championship April 13-14 at Juniata College.

Stevens, 27-6 overall, gained the top seed in the 16-team event. Eastern Mennonite (19-10) is seeded third and D'Youville (23-10) is fourth.
