BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 7, 2007) -- Nazareth's men's volleyball team extended its winning streak to 16 matches Wednesday with a four-game victory at Medaille to improve its overall record to 18-3.

Sophomore Joe Petzoldt (pictured) combined 19 kills with six digs and sophomore setter Frank Leahy tallied 49 assists as the seventh-ranked Golden Flyers defeated the 12th-ranked Mavericks for the second time this season to remain unbeaten (7-0) in the North East Collegiate Volleyball Association's Western Division.

Junior Tom Maving added 15 kills, senior Shaun Tyszka had 13 and sophomore Chris DeHority contributed 11 digs.

Nazareth travels to Florida to play three matches, beginning Friday at Lake Sumter Community College. Nazareth plays Warner Southern Friday at 5 p.m., then St. Ambrose of Davenport, Iowa Saturday at 11 a.m., followed by Eastern Mennonite at 5 p.m.
