NAZARETH DEFEATS VASSAR IN 3
Golden Flyers improve to 13-3 with 11th straight win

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (Feb. 24, 2007) -- Nazareth, playing its first match in 14 days Saturday, picked up where it left off in men's volleyball as the visiting Golden Flyers defeated Vassar in three games. Scores were 30-20, 30-20, 30-21.

Nazareth, ranked eighth nationally in Division III, won its 11th straight match to improve to 13-3 overall. Vassar is 4-8.

Sophomore setter Frank Leahy (pictured) paced Nazareth with 39 assists. Junior Tom Maving had 11 kills and junior AdamDiCicco had 10. Nazareth had a .398 hitting percentage and outblocked Vassar 20-8.

The Golden Flyers return to action next weekend at the Endicott Tournament in Beverly, Mass.
