MA (Mar. 3, 2007) -- The seventh-ranked Nazareth
volleyball team continued its winning streak Saturday
with two victories in the Endicott Tournament.
The Golden Flyers defeated Baruch in three games--
30-26, 30-17, 30-23 and Rivier in five games--
30-18, 29-31, 27-30, 30-27, 15-7.
Nazareth, which is now 15-3 and has won 13 consecutive
matches, will play against 10th-ranked MIT at
12 p.m. Sunday. MIT has also won twice in the
tournament as it defeated Villa Julie and New
Paltz in three and five games respectively. The
Golden Flyers will play once again Sunday at 4
p.m. against either Hunter or eighth-ranked Clarke,
who also have two victories in the tournament.
The Golden Flyers return to action Wednesday
at Medaille at 7 p.m. in a NECVA Conference match.
