ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 23, 2007) -- John Colosi produced 18 kills for D'Youville to lead the visiting Spartans to a three-game victory-- 30-22, 30-28, 30-19 over Nazareth Friday. John Kofmehl also recorded 28 assists and nine digs for D'Youville.

Sophomore Joe Pedzoldt and junior Adam DiCicco each produced 12 kills for Nazareth. Sophomore setter Frank Leahy had 37 assists while senior Geoff O'Connor (pictured) recorded 11 digs for the Golden Flyers.

In Nazareth's match against Philadelphia Biblical, junior Tom Maving led host Nazareth with 12 kills and seven digs while Petzoldt produced eight kills and seven digs to lead Nazareth to a three-game non-conference victory-- 30-23, 30-24, 31-29 over Philadelphia Biblical. Geoff O'Connor had seven digs and freshman setter Kevin Kirchoff had 36 assists for the Golden Flyers.

In other action, D'Youville defeated the Philadelphia Biblical Crimson Eagles in three games, 30-14, 30-19, 30-25.

After Friday's matches, the Golden Flyers hold a 20-6 record. D'Youville improves to 21-9 after defeating Nazareth and Philadelphia Biblical while the Crimson Eagles fall to 19-11 with two losses.

Nazareth finishes its regular season against Villa Julie Saturday at Medaille before hosting the NECVA Championship March 30-31.
