6TH AT ECAC HEPTATHLON
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. (May 16, 2004) -- Nazareth freshman
Jessemyn Russell performed set four school records over the weekend to
place sixth overall in the heptathlon at the ECAC Division III Championships
at Williams College. She set a school record in amassing 4,068 points.
Her best performances included breaking her own records in the 100 hurdles
(:15.59), the 200-meter dash (:27.39), and the long jump (4.68m).

NAZARETH COMPETES AT NYSCTC MEET
BROCKPORT, N.Y. (May 1, 2004) -- Junior Kenny
Taylor turned in a sixth-place finish in the 400-meter dash to lead Nazareth
at the New York State Collegiate Track Conference meet at Brockport.

RUSSELL WINS STATE HEPTATHLON TITLE
ITHACA, N.Y. (April 26, 2004) -- Nazareth freshman Jessemyn Russell performed
well in seven events Sunday and Monday and captured the overall championship
in the heptathlon at the NYSCTC/Empire 8 Championships held at Ithaca
College.

NAZARETH TRACK COMPETES AT UR
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (April 24, 2004) -- Junior Kenny Taylor turned
in a pair of first-place finishes to lead the Nazareth men's and women's
track and field teams in a tri-meet with the University of Rochester and
RIT at Fauver Stadium. Taylor won the 200-meter dash in :22.3 seconds
and the long jump with a leap of 19 feet, 5 1/4 inches.

GOLDEN FLYERS COMPETE AT HAMILTON
CLINTON, N.Y. (April 17, 2004) -- Nazareth's men's and women's track and
field teams were in action Saturday at the Hamilton Invitational. Sophomore
Heather Dean was among the top individual performers for the Golden Flyers
with a third-place finish in the discus.

GOLDEN FLYERS COMPETE AT UR INVITATIONAL
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (April 10, 2004) -- Nazareth's men's
and women's track and field teams were back in action Saturday, competing
at the Alumni Invitational at the University of Rochester's Fauver Stadium.
Nazareth's women's team finished in ninth place with 21 points. The men's
team placed 11th with 19 points. Jessemyn Russell scored in three events
for the Golden Flyers.

NAZARETH MAKES TRACK DEBUT AT MUHLENBERG
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (April 3, 2004) -- Nazareth's track and field
teams made their outdoor debut Saturday at the Muhlenberg Invitational.
Among the top performers for the women were freshmen Liz Burns (11th in
the 1,500 meters) and Jessemyn Russell (fifth in the 100 hurdles and the
high jump). In the men's meet, junior Kenny Taylor was third in the 200
meter dash and freshman Craig Connelly was eighth in the 400 meter run.

RUSSELL NAMED E8'S TOP ROOKIE
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Mar. 4, 2004) -- Jessemyn Russell, a freshman
on the Nazareth College women's indoor track and field team, has been
named the Empire 8 Rookie of the Year for the 2003-04 season. Russell
recently took first-place honors at the New York State Collegiate Track
Conference Pentathlon Championship.

RUSSELL FINISHES 3RD IN HIGH JUMP
CANTON, N.Y. (Feb. 28, 2004) -- One week after winning the state pentathlon
title for the Nazareth women's track and field team, freshman Jessemyn
Russell turned in a third-place finish in the high jump at the New York
State Collegiate Track Conference championships at St. Lawrence University.
Russell jumped 5 feet, 1-3/4 inches for the Golden Flyers. She scored
2,898 points in last week's pentathlon.

RUSSELL WINS STATE PENTATHLON TITLE
CLINTON, N.Y. (Feb. 22, 2004) -- Freshman Jessemyn Russell did well enough
in five events Sunday at Hamilton College to bring home first-place honors
at the New York State Collegiate Track Conference Pentathlon Championship.
Russell amassed 2,898 points -- 10 more than runner-up Anna Barbi of Rochester
to win the title in Nazareth's first season of intercollegiate competition.
