BRANDON WHEELER NAMED
E8 ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
 ROCHESTER,
N.Y. (Feb. 5, 2007) -- Brandon Wheeler, a sophomore
on the Nazareth track and field team, has been
honored as Empire 8 Athlete of the Week for the
seven-day period that ended Feb. 4, 2007.
Wheeler, of Penn Yan, N.Y. and a graduate of
Penn Yan Academy, broke two school records at
last Friday's RIT Invitational. He won the 400-meter
dash with a record time of :51.46 seconds and
then placed fifth in the high jump with a leap
of 1.85 meters (6 feet, 0 3/4 inches).
Nazareth competes again this weekend at Cornell.
