won a pair of matches Friday at the New York Division III Women's Tennis Championships to reach Saturday's semifinals. The Golden Flyers also had four singles players still competing as action resumed Saturday at the Reis Tennis Center at Cornell University.

HOBOKEN, N.J. -- Second-seeded RIT swept all three doubles matches against third-seeded Nazareth in women's tennis Saturday as the Tigers defeated the Golden Flyers, 5-0, in the semifinals of the Empire 8 Conference Tournament at Stevens Institute of Technology.

HOBOKEN, N.J. -- Nazareth is seeded third for this weekend's Empire 8 Conference Tourenament for women's tennis, hosted by Stevens Institute of Technology. The Golden Flyers, 6-2 in regular-season conference matches and 6-4 overall, plays second-seeded RIT in a semifinal match Saturday at 2 p.m. Top-seeded Ithaca plays Stevens in the other semifinal at 10 a.m. Sunday's championship match is at 12 p.m.
