 BROCKPORT,
N.Y (Sept. 13, 2005) -- Visiting Nazareth won
all six singles matches Wednesday as the Golden
Flyers defeated Brockport in women's tennis, 8-1.
Freshman Rachel Leonard (pictured) remained unbeaten
in singles at 6-0 with a straight-set win at second
singles, 6-3, 6-1. Freshman Stephanie Parvan also
won at first singles in three sets. Juniors Betsy
O'Brien, Emily McAdoo and Kathryn Cross also won
singles matches as did freshman Danielle Carinci.
Leonard and Parvan also teamed up for a victory
at second doubles, while the team of Cross and
McAdoo prevailed at third doubles.
