AT RENSSELAER TOURNAMENT

N.Y. (Sept. 3, 2006) -- Nazareth finished in a
tie with host Rensselaer for first place in the
RPI Invitational Tournament Sunday, but the Engineers
claimed the first-place tie in a tiebreaker as
they won four more games than the Golden Flyers.
Each team won 16 matches during the two-day tournament.
Sophomore Rachel Leonard (pictured) won three
singles matches for Nazareth to win the second
singles flight. Senior Emily McAdoo and sophomore
Jessica Harvey won the fifth and sixth singles
flights respectively for the Golden Flyers.
In the doubles matches played Saturday, Nazareth's
duo of Leonard and Stephanie Parvan won the first
flight with a 3-0 record.
