N.Y. (Sept. 16, 2006) -- Visiting RIT won two
of three doubles matches against Nazareth Tuesday
and went on to take a 5-4 women's tennis victory
over the Golden Flyers.
Sophomore Rachel Leonard (pictured) improved
to 6-0 with a straight set victory at second singles
for the Golden Flyers. She also teamed with sophomore
Stephanie Parvan for an 8-1 victory at first doubles.
Senior Betsy O'Brien and freshman Jackie Martinez
also won singles matches for the Golden Flyers,
who fell to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in Empire 8 matches.
The Golden Flyers visit St. John Fisher Thursday.
