N.Y. (Sept. 9, 2006) -- Visiting Nazareth dropped
its Empire 8 Conference opener in women's tennis
Saturday as the Golden Flyers fell to Ithaca,
5-4.
The Golden Flyers (0-2 overall) received singles
wins from Sophomores Stephanie Parvan and Rachel
Leonard (pictured) at first and second singles
respectively and from senior Emily McAdoo at fifth
singles.
Nazareth lost two of the three doubles contests
with the first doubles tandem of Leonard and Parvan
earning the loone doubles point with an 8-5 triumph.
