ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Sept. 7, 2006) -- Host Nazareth got singles victories from sophomores Stephanie Parvan (pictured) and Rachel Leonard and freshman Jackie Martinez Thursday, but Geneseo swept all three doubles matches and defeated the Golden Flyers in women's tennis, 6-3.

Parvan and Leonard each won in straight sets at first and second singles respectively. Martinez won her first set at fourth singles and ultimately won the match through injury default.

Senior Betsy O'Brien dropped a close three-set match at third singles and Emily McAdoo and Jess harvey were beaten at fifth and sixth singles.

Nazareth returns to action Saturday at Ithaca at 1 p.m.
