ELMIRA, N.Y. (Sept. 29, 2006) -- Visiting Nazareth won five of six singles matches in straight sets Friday and also captured all three doubles contests as the Golden Flyers defeated Elmira in women's tennis, 8-1.

Sophomore Rachel Leonard (pictured) improved her second-singles record to 8-0 with a 6-0, 6-1 win. She also teamed with sophomore Stephanie Parvan for an 8-0 victory at first doubles.

Parvan also won at first singles, while senior Betsy O'Brien, freshman Jackie Martinez and junior Ellen Austin also won singles matches.

Nazareth hosts Alfred Saturday.
