ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Oct. 3, 2004) -- Host Nazareth captured the first four singles matches and two of the three doubles contests and went on to take a 6-3 victory over Hartwick in an Empire 8 Conference women's tennis match Sunday.

Junior Angela Tessoni (pictured) won a close match at first singles over Hartwick's Mara Tichey 6-3, 7-6. Senior Andrea Gaddis won in straight sets at second singles, then junior Ann Kucheryavenko and sophomore Betsy O'Brien each won in three sets at third and fourth singles respectively.

In doubles, Gaddis teamed with O'Brien for a victory at first doubles and Kucheryavenko and Tessoni won at second doubles. Nazareth is 6-3 overall.
