English major…born July 10, 1982…daughter of Carlos and Vanessa Medina, East Syracuse, N.Y… back for her third season, Medina had an 11-4 singles record in 2001-02 and finished 10-4 in doubles. . . combined to win 17 matches at singles and doubles in 2000-01. . . a graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa High School, Medina played five seasons of varsity tennis there for Coach John Johnson…was named team MVP…member of the National Honor Society.
