ITHACA, N.Y. (March 31, 2007) -- Nazareth edged host Ithaca in men's tennis Saturday as the Golden Flyers won two of three doubles matches as well as three close singles matches.

Juniors Jon Weaver and Terrance Nichols and freshman Steve Trobert each rallied to win three-set matches at second, third and fifth singles for the Golden Flyers, who improved to 5-4 overall and 2-0 in the Empire 8.

Weaver also teamed with Andre Putyera for an 8-6 win at first doubles. Nazareth secured another point at third doubles through the tandem of Nichols and Trobert.

Nazareth plays again Wednesday at Oswego at 4 p.m.
