GOLDEN FLYERS LOSE AT HOBART, 6-3

GENEVA, N.Y. (March 28, 2007) -- Visiting Nazareth won the first three singles matches Wednesday, but Hobart won the rest in a 6-3 non-conference victory over the Golden Flyers.

Andre Putyera (pictured) was a straight-set winner at first singles. Juniors Jon Weaver and Terrance Nichols followed with victories at second and third singles respectively.

Nazareth lost the remaining singles matches with sophomore Greg Bohneberg and freshmen Steve Trobert and Ben Caiella each losing in straight sets.

Nazareth is 3-4 overall and returns to action Thursday to play an Empire 8 Conference match at RIT at 4 p.m. The Golden Flyers also visit Ithaca Saturday at 3 p.m.
