N.Y. (April 5, 2006) -- Nazareth won five of six
singles matches Wednesday and went on to take
a 5-2 men's tennis win over visiting Oswego in
a non-conference match.
Ryan Weaver, Jon Weaver (pictured), Terrance
Nichols and Kurt Meichtry breezed to straight
set singles wins in the first four singles matches
and sophomore Jerry Stocker won in a tiebreaker
at fifth singles.
Oswego secured points by winning at sixth singles
and by taking two of the three doubles matches.
Nazareth won at second doubles behind the duo
of Ryan Weaver and Nichols.
Nazareth's third straight win boosted its overall
record to 6-5. The Golden Flyers visit St. Lawrence
Saturday.
